De esta manera se reduce notablemente el uso de medios de lubricación caros y se minimiza el descarte de virutas húmedas o barros que muchas veces es caro. Adaptación óptima En el área de metales, se pude elegir un formato de briquetas desde 60 x 40 mm hasta 150 x 120 mm. La elección de formatos para briquetas depende de la capacidad de producción requerida así como también del tipo y forma de los materiales de origen y de la densidad de la chatarra.
