Im Januar dieses Jahres hat DURABLE mit RETHINK die ganzheitliche Nachhaltigkeitsstrategie des Unternehmens vorgestellt. Mit der Umstellung des innerbetrieblichen Transportes zwischen der Fertigung in Kamen-Methler und dem Distributionszentrum in Iserlohn-Sümmern in Kooperation mit dem Logistikpartner Dachser ist ein weiterer wichtiger Schritt zur Senkung des CO2-Fußabdruckes getan.

Iserlohn, 01. Februar 2023: Seit dem 1. Februar 2023 ist DURABLE ein klimaneutrales Unternehmen. Dafür hat der Hersteller für Produkte und Lösungen für den modernen Arbeitsplatz gemeinsam mit ClimatePartner den CCF – Corporate Carbon Footprint, den CO2-Fußabdruck, ermittelt. „Wir tragen als Unternehmen eine große Verantwortung gegenüber unseren Kunden, Partnern, Mitarbeitern und dem gesamten Umfeld und haben deshalb mit der Berechnung unseres CO2-Fußabdruckes den ersten wichtigen Schritt getan“, so DURABLE Geschäftsführer Rolf Schifferens. Der gemeinsam mit ClimatePartner errechnete Wert beträgt 5.242 t CO2. Mit dem Label „Klimaneutrales Unternehmen“ möchte DURABLE zusätzliche Transparenz schaffen. Über die ID-Nummer kann die Klimaneutralität im ClimatePartner-ID-Tracking (https://climatepartner.com/20192-2301-1001) nachvollzogen werden.

As of the 1st of February, DURABLE is a certified carbon-neutral company. To achieve this, the manufacturer of products and solutions for modern workplaces teamed up with ClimatePartner to determine the company’s corporate carbon footprint (CCF). “As a company, we have a great responsibility towards our customers, partners, employees and the environment. This is why we have taken the first key step by calculating our carbon footprint,” explains DURABLE’s Managing Director Rolf Schifferens. Based on a wide range of data, ClimatePartner calculated our footprint at 5,242 t and earned the “Carbon-Neutral Company” accreditation.
